Hello everyone! This is my very first post on my new blog and I’m really excited! I may as well start off by mentioning some of my research interests. I hope that technology always changes. I hope that we change with technology. I hope that technology will make our lives that bit easier rather than harder. In broad terms, my research interests lie in how current and future expressive/interactive interfaces can help us learn, work and play.

I just arrived back from my holiday in Florida on Monday, and boy was I wrecked… travelling for 24 hours (yes, layovers can be a killer!). I was delighted to find out my doctoral application had been successful; I can now embark on my new journey of exploring new frameworks for design of certain expressive interfaces. It’s going to be a challenging few years; however, it will all be worth it! I aim to use this blog to keep you updated on my journey of research; through the challenges, the fun times, the interesting times, the hard times, and so on. I hope you are as excited as I am!
